At a ceremony during Hospital Week celebrations on May 13th, fifteen Brooks staff members were recognized as 2014/2015 I-CARE Ambassadors. Nominated by their peers, these employees exemplify the hospital’s values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Known within their departments as role models, they each have a way of doing ordinary work extraordinarily well.
"I just treat people the way I like to be treated", states Glendora Lane, Food Service Attendant (FSA) in Nutritional Services. Such as simple idea. Somehow, though, Glen and her cohorts have a way of making the simple seem special.
I-CARE Ambassadors will receive a framed photograph with a customized engraved plaque to commemorate this achievement. Congratulations to each of these extraordinary employees for helping to make Brooks a special place.
