Nursing![]() A Note from Helen Cole VP of Nursing
In my role as Vice President of Nursing, it is an honor to be a part of an institution that not only cares for people but also cares about them. My commitment to our patients and families is to meet the changing healthcare needs of the community by working in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect to deliver excellent healthcare in a fiscally responsible manner. At Brooks Memorial the opportunities in nursing make it a great place to work. Our nurses participate on many committees that include members of our community.
We have adopted an evidence-based approach to providing patient care across our continuum and we are collaborative with our community, physicians, and patients themselves. Our vision for nursing is to foster excellence and recognize individuality. We accomplish this with opportunities for professional development and promoting professional excellence within the hospital community by support and recognition and respect for each individual. Our nursing professional talents, contributions, and dedication by the nursing staff has been unsurpassed and I am privileged to work with this great nursing staff and for such a fine organization.
