In recognition of March as National Athletic Training month, Brooks' Sports Medicine Department is raising awareness of the profession and Athletic Trainers' (AT) commitment to helping people prevent injuries and stay healthy and active. AT's are health care professionals and can be found working in high schools and colleges, corporations, professional sports, the military, performing arts and clinics, hospitals and physician offices.
All month long, Brooks staff will distribute information on how your protection is their priority at various locations in our community.
* Stay tuned for information on first annual Brooks Hospital Sports Medicine Athletic Injury Prevention Workshop, a FREE hands-on training day for middle and high school student athletes, athletic directors, coaches, and parent volunteers.
